Red Acre is looking for Site Reliability Engineers to join a new Operations and Reliability team This team will be working to support, automate and improve the infrastructure and the delivery pipeline. Based in Malta, you will form part of an Agile team whose passion is to create beautiful APIs and web apps that work flawlessly.

Site Reliability Engineers are mission-critical for our success. Having major impact across our engineering through optimizing web services, ensuring all production systems are running smoothly and supporting developers by developing and maintaining a continuous delivery pipeline with flexible CI/CD and automation as part of the developers’ workflow. As an SRE you’ll also be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, administration, and operations necessary to run Red Acre’s cloud environment at scale.


As an SRE you will:

  • Be part of the team on our on-call rotation to response to availability incidents and provide service engineers with incidents
  • Deploy, maintain, and run our infrastructure using IaC
  • Enable alerting and monitoring based on symptoms not on outages
  • Document every action so your findings turn into repeatable actions, then implement them into automation
  • Improve the deployment process to make it as secure and low-risk as possible
  • Debug and monitor production issues and logs across all services of the stack
  • Help drive new features, abilities, and code changes into the core product with an operations focus point of view 

As an SRE you have:

  • Strong experience with Gitlab CI
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Familiarity with tools such as Docker, and Terraform for building infrastructure
  • Experience with scripting and automation
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting and operations
  • Experience with incident response
  • Working knowledge in Agile methodologies
